Canceling an Absence

  1. Go to EasyConnect > My Absences.
  2. Click on the absence you wish to cancel.
  3. Click Deactivate Absence at the bottom of the page and provide a reason for the cancellation.

If “Deactivate Absence” is greyed out

Click Reply All on your ‘filled absence’ email and request the cancellation of your absence. This will be Cc’ed to relevant members of the school board who can cancel the absence for you.

If your absence hasn’t been filled and you don’t have the ‘filled absence’ email, please contact the principal or anyone within the administrative department at your school location to deactivate the absence for you.
